The Alpinestars CR-X Drystar Riding Motorcycle Shoes have been designed to be versatile for walking all day, but equally effective for riding. They offer comfort and protection and feature a Drystar waterproof and breathable membrane to keep your feet dry and comfortable, whatever the weather! These have been designed with a single unit 'DROP' (or the offset between heel and toe) of 9 mm (many running shoes have a 9 mm drop) to ensure a smooth heel-to-toe transition when walking, thanks to the EVA midsole. Forefoot Flex grooves in the midsole provide enhanced forefoot comfort (the grooves promote flexing in the forefoot area), and a lightweight inner bootie (a removable Ortholite sock) with an open-cell PU compound prevents overheating, making these ultra-comfortable with a minimal design. In addition, the CR-X Drystar shoes offer premium levels of protection with a full-length TPU inner sole plate and hidden asymmetric lateral and medial TPU ankle discs for superior riding protection. A TPU layer at the gear change area, plus CE approved to EN 13634:2017 (protective footwear for motorcyclists). All this protection doesn't mean you have to compromise on comfort. The tongue with bellows construction has been designed to remain in position when riding for a snug, secure fit. At the same time, an internal EVA layer sandwiched between the outer and inner materials reduces pressure on the foot during gear shifts. The asymmetric outsole stud configuration provides excellent grip and abrasion resistance, made from an oil-resistant dual-rubber compound. Available in a wide choice of colours.
