The third evolution of the ultra-popular Rukka Nivala pants has slight improvements to these premium pants. Made from 92% Polyamide and 8% Elastane, they offer 100% breathable, wind- and waterproof GORE-TEX Performance Technology 3-layer laminate with an outer layer of lightweight, abrasion and tear-resistant stretch polyamide. These also feature abrasion-resistant CORDURA 1500D reinforcements on the hips, knees, and inner side of the leg openings. These also feature highly tear- and abrasion-resistant, yet lightweight and stretchy, PU Tek reinforcements at the knees. CE Level 2 D3O Air XTR hip and knee/shin protectors give superior impact protection. Separate extra-warm down trousers with 82g filling (90% down, 10% feather) are easy to pack in their own small storage bag for transport. Heat and abrasion-resistant leather patches on the inner sides of the knees provide additional protection, and Rukka AirCushion and Rukka Antiglide systems with Schoeller Keprotec in the seat area keep you in place. A connection zip attaches to jackets, and the waist belt and legs are adjustable for the perfect fit. Detachable braces provide added versatility and can be fitted with the Rukka Wind-R bib (sold seperately). Ventilation openings on the front and back of the thighs provide superior airflow, and these pants also include one pocket in the inner trousers and two water-resistant pockets on the outside with zips. The warranty can be extended by the manufacturer to 6 years.
