CE certified level AA, the Spada Vanguard CE waterproof pants are fitted with TetraHex CE Level 2 four-piece armour at the knees and hips, providing impact protection across key lower-body zones. Constructed from a durable, lightweight nylon shell without lamination, they offer a flexible feel ideal for touring, commuting or mixed-terrain riding. A modular 10k/10k waterproof, breathable thermal trouser layer can be added or removed depending on weather conditions, giving riders multi-season versatility. Long and short connection zips provide attachment to jackets, and these pants also offer enhanced air circulation thanks to large intake ventilation at the top thigh and exhaust vents at the back leg. Stretch panels provide optimum movement along with accordion elasticated articulated knees and lumber. A zip flu with stud fastening provides secure closure, and reflective elements enhance visibility. A reinforced seat panel provides additional durability, and a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) finish applied to the outer layer gives additional water resistance. Hook-and-loop waist and hem adjustability give the perfect fit, and these also offer six pockets for optimum storage, with zip-fastened front hip pockets.
